I Have a Topic

If you have a research topic in mind, try a keyword search of the library catalog.  Using a multiple keywords separated by the word and works best.  For example:  Teaching and Mathematics.  From the search results page, you can "modify search" to view multiple options to refine or expand your search.  For example, you can limit by format (DVD, ebook, etc.) or expand your search to include the WNCLN library network and request books from ABC Express (Asheville, Boone, Cullowhee), which gives you access to the collections of The University of North Carolina, Asheville and Appalachian State University.

I Know the Title or Author I Want

For a Title search you can omit any initial articles (A, An, The)

For an Author search put the author's last name first.  Example:  Kohn, Alfie
