OneSearch is Hunter Library’s discovery tool, which allows you to find Books, E-books, and full-text articles from scholarly journals and magazines, media, and other library collections.
Your search results can be quickly narrowed using several different limiters. You can refine your search by full-text and scholarly/peer-reviewed; by content type - journal articles, jooks, newspapers, magazines, e-Books, etc. and by publication date.
Whether you're looking for newspaper articles or scholarly/peer-reviewed journal articles, Hunter Library has hundreds of article databases and electronic journals to choose from. Databases may be subject specific (e.g., art, biology, business, political science, etc.), or interdisciplinary (across several disciplines).
To find which databases are most appropriate to your topic, go to the library's Articles & Databases page. Then select the subject that fits most closely to your topic.
In the same Articles & Databases page you will also find the link to Interdisciplinary Databases. If you are unsure of your subject area but you have a general idea of your topic, try searching from some of the interdisciplinary databases listed below. If you need help with your search contact the reference librarian.
