Hunter Library can provide you with access to our print collection, even if you are taking classes at a different instructional site or online. If you live in Jackson or Buncombe Counties, you may pick up materials at Hunter Library at WCU, Biltmore Park, or Ramsey Library at the University of North Carolina – Asheville (UNCA). Other options for requesting print materials include ABC Express and interlibrary loan (Loan Shark). If you need an item mailed to your home, please see instructions in the Using the Library Catalog box below.
In addition to access to print books, ebooks are readily available through our Library Catalog. P. Students also have access to a large collection of audiobooks and digital collections.
If you need an item (book or journal article) that is not available at WCU, ASU, or UNCA, you may request it using our interlibrary loan system called Loan Shark
*Please indicate that you are a distance or off-campus learner when placing your request. We will mail all material to you at no cost, within the United States outside of Jackson and Buncombe counties (Jackson and Buncombe residents should use ABC Express if possible).
