Here is a quick video to get you started using the many options on the library's site.
For most of your searching needs the article search box on the library's homepage will be your best bet.
Once you type in your keywords and hit 'enter' you will be taken to your search results, which should look something like this:
Use the "Books" button on the library's main page (or the search box below) to search for books, CDs, DVDs, and other material that isn't an article. The default search for material is a keyword search for material at WCU.
Once you find an item make note of its location (General, Reference, etc.) and make sure to write down the call number so you can locate the book on the shelf.
If you want to search for material at ASU or UNCA (as well as WCU) you can modify your search by using the dropdown menu and choosing WNCLN:
If you find a book or DVD that is owned by ASU or UNCA you can request the item and have it sent over in 1-2 business days.
Each of these links takes you to an online reference library of hundreds of specialized encyclopedias and dictionaries that you can search with a single search box.
