Tips for Scholarly Editions:
1. Look at bibliographies of recent scholarly articles and books about that text; which edition do the scholars use?
2. Make sure you can get your hands on it; order copies from ASU or UNCA from the catalog; everything else via Interlibrary Loan.
3. Make sure the edition is scholarly--use MLA's guidelines.
4. Make sure you can find a book review about this edition. Use the following resources for book reviews. Reminder, MLA International Bibliography does not include book reviews. Instead, use MLA to see which editions the scholars cite in their works cited.
Use the multi-search box below to find reviews in Academic Search Premier and other resources.
