Only very recent scholarship uses the term Latinx. Though you have learned the nuances between the various terms such as Hispanic and Latinx, you may have to try different key terms when you are searching including Latino and Latina. For example, if your topic is health care in Latinx communities, you might type these words into the OneSearch or other library database: (Latino or Latinx or Hispanic) and health care.
The library provides pre-paid access to the OneSearch tool, which allows you to search pre-paid articles and books held by the library. If you want articles only, you will be able to limit the results.
Latinx issues and the Latinx Studies minor are interdisciplinary, so if your topic touches on psychology, race, history, criminal justice, or any other field, you may want to review our full listing of databases (linked below.
